One email address, no form, no account and no newsletter. Corrections are the most welcome kind of message and are the fastest to get a reply.
Write to [email protected]. That is the only channel. There is no contact form on this site because a form would mean collecting and storing what you type, and the desk would rather not hold anything it does not need.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, say so and it gets fixed. The most useful message names the page, quotes the sentence, and states what the correct version is. Mechanism errors and arithmetic errors in illustrative examples are treated as urgent, because the whole value of this site rests on the mechanics being described accurately.
Substantive corrections are made in place, and the modification date on the page reflects the change. The desk does not argue with a correction it cannot rebut.
Coverage requests
Requests for a confusion to be covered are welcome. The test applied to each one is simple: can the answer be explained by describing a mechanism, or would it require asserting something about a market that the desk cannot verify? The first kind gets written. The second kind gets declined with an explanation.
Requests that amount to asking for a token to be assessed, ranked or promoted are declined without exception, because the site does not do that and would not be useful if it did.
What this address is not for
- Paid placement. The desk does not sell links, mentions, reviews or guest posts, and does not respond to offers of them.
- Investment questions. Nothing here is advice, and the desk will not tell you whether to buy anything.
- Support for third-party tools. Consoles referenced on this site are run by other people. Questions about how they work belong with their operators.
- Data lookups. The desk does not run figures for individual tokens, because it does not publish observed market data. The procedures on the site are written so you can run them yourself.
What to expect
Replies come from a person reading the message, not from an automated system. There is no ticket number, no acknowledgement email and no queue position, and there is no mailing list to be added to. Your address is used to reply and for nothing else.
Messages that are clearly automated outreach get no reply. Everything else does, eventually, and corrections get one first.
