Privacy On This Site
No cookies, no analytics, no accounts, no forms and no advertising. What remains is ordinary web server logging and the requests your browser makes to two content delivery networks for fonts and stylesheets.
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics script, has no login, no account system, no comment section and no contact form. There is nothing to opt into and nothing to opt out of, because nothing is collected for the purpose of profiling you.
What the server records
Like any web server, the host that serves these pages writes an access log entry for each request. A typical entry contains the requesting IP address, the time, the path requested, the HTTP status, the user agent string and, when the browser sends one, the referring page. This is standard operational logging, it exists to keep the site running and to detect abuse, and it is not linked to any identity.
Nothing in those logs is sold, shared for advertising, used to build a profile, or joined against any other data set. They are retained for a short operational period and then discarded.
Cookies and local storage
None are set by this site. No consent banner appears because there is nothing to consent to. If your browser shows a cookie for this domain, it did not come from these pages.
Third parties your browser contacts
Two external services are requested when a page loads, and both are content delivery networks serving files rather than tracking services.
- A CDN for the Bootstrap stylesheet, icon font and script bundle. Your browser requests those files directly, so that provider sees the request in the same way any file host sees a request.
- Google Fonts, for the three typefaces used on the site. The same applies: your browser fetches the font files and the provider sees that request.
Neither is configured with an account, an identifier or any tracking parameter by this site, and neither receives anything about you that your browser does not send to any server it fetches a file from. Their own policies govern what they do with request data.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to documentation and to a commercial console operated by other people. Once you follow such a link you are on someone else's site under their terms and their privacy practices, and this desk has no visibility into what happens there and no control over it. No tracking parameters, redirect hops or shortened URLs are added to outbound links here.
If you write to the desk, your message and your address sit in an ordinary mailbox. They are used to reply and for nothing else. There is no mailing list, no newsletter, and no circumstance in which an address that wrote in gets added to one.
